Koeman isn't being as important for Koeman as it seemed he was going to be after his signing from Juventus and he doesn't understand why. The midfielder was honest in 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' and spoke clearly about what he thinks of the playing time that his manager is giving him. 
"Yes, I think I should play more and that's what I want. Honestly, I don't understand the reason for the situation. It is clear that I want to play more and I can give it. When the coach has called me up, I have always responded by doing things right, playing good games, more than that I don't know what I can do", he said about it.
"I'm not satisfied and I can't be, in my career I never accepted the idea of not playing and I'm not going to do it now. Let's see because I'm ready, I train well and I wait because I can't do anything else, it's a delicate situation that doesn't suit me", he continued.
This doesn't mean he isn't happy at Barcelona: "I am satisfied with the club and my teammates, in Italy, I lived nine very beautiful years and I miss it; I was wonderful at Roma and Juventus, I had very important seasons, now I have a new challenge at the biggest club in the world and I must adapt to the game, it was a novelty that I wanted to try".
When he was asked if he saw himself better in Turin, he answered: "Juve will always be in my heart, I follow the team whenever I can, the draw made me happy, but unfortunately I could not play against the 'tifosi' in Turin. There will be other occasions, I always wish Juve the best"
