Last November, Tottenham Hotspur decided to fire Mauricio Pochettino. At the time, they were experiencing some worrying form in the Premier League and, after reaching the final of the Champions League the previous year, the team took the difficult decision to fire him. Weeks later Jose Mourinho arrived at the club.
Now, a year after this last stage, Pochettino feels ready. In the middle of the broadcast of 'Sky Sports' for the match between Leeds United and Leicester, the Argentinean was questioned about his future.
"I always feel ready to get involved in this again. I love football, it's my job. It is not a stress to work,or go to training, or prepare a game, or compete," said Pochettino.
"My hair is long now, I hope to cut it when I go back to the bench. I'm looking forward to taking part in this sport again," added the coach, who has already sounded off to several clubs.
During this year he was linked to teams like Manchester United, Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain, but nothing ever materialized. Meanwhile, the former Tottenham coach awaits an attractive offer.
"We are working, but it is not the same to participate every day and share time and space with your players and staff," he concluded
