Tiktok is definitely one of the most Creative-Video Uploading Platform [if not the best], the app was released way back in September 14, 2015 and it already has 1 billion plus downloads, approximately 456,621 downloads a day for the last 6 years, Oh my gosh! Can you believe it?
In this article, I’ll teach you how to get Tiktok famous in 2021 using ‘The SPUS Technique’ which consists of Four Solid principleswhich will no doubt get more followers and likes on Tiktok.
How to Use THE SPUS TECHNIQUE and Get Tiktok Famous.
After I did a thorough research on the Tiktok Algorithm, Guess What? I discovered their Algorithm was much easier to master when compared to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other socials, so I decided to put all of my Tiktok Algorithm Knowledge together into an understandable format.
The SPUS Technique entails;
- S – Switch to a Professional or Business Account.
- P – Post at least two pieces of content Everyday.
- U –Use relevant Hash tags.
- S – Share on Instagram.
Switch to a Professional or Bussiness Account:
To Improve your Organic Reach and for the Tiktok Algorithm to Display your content when a certain keyword is Searched, you’ll have to switch to a professional or Business Tiktok account.
My research on the Tiktok Algorithm proved that when a certain keyword is entered in the Tiktok Search Bar, only business or professional accounts with content keywords are shown. You can try this yourself, input a keyword and see the accounts that are displayed.

I personally use a Tiktok Business account because I want more link clicks, I strongly suggest you use a Tiktok Business Account if you want to promote your blog, YouTube Channel or Affiliate link. That being said, let’s move over to the Second Principle of the SPUS technique.
Post at least two Pieces of Content Everyday:
The Heading says it all, you don’t want your profile to look scanty, so make sure to Upload at least two videos daily because someone might barge into one of your videos and decides to visit your Tiktok Profile, lets say it isn’t scanty, if that person really likes your content, he/she might end up clicking your link for more or even watching all your videos.
Use Relevant Hash tags:
This is the most principe of the SPUS Technique, all other principles rest on the shoulders of this one. I’ll Break it down to two steps;
Step 1: Do your Keyword Research on Tiktok? Lets take for example, you’re in the Gaming niche, Hash Tags like #videogames and #games are quite popular with billions of views, it’s cool if you use them but they won’t guarantee you followers because the Gaming Niche is Quite broad and you need likes and followers don’t you? Over to step 2.
Step 2: If your niche Doesn’t Have Sub-niches then you don’t have to implement this Step, but if you’re in the Gaming Niche or any other niche that has Sub-niches then this step is for you. For example in the gaming community we have fortnite gamers, PUBG gamer, FIFA Gamers, Mobile/console gamers and so on... these are what I call the Sub-Niches and all you have to do is find the keywords and most viewed hash tags in your Sub-niche (for FIFA Gamers, you might want to use #fifa #games #fifa21 #fifa21fut #fifa21skills and so much more) , add them to your Video always and also be the first to comment with more Hash tags.
Note* Do not Use irrelevant hash tags as the Tiktok Algorithm will Detect that your audience retention rate is extremely low and you’ll end up getting close to No views, likes and even followers.

Most Tiktokers think Sharing on Instagram feature on Tiktok is a waste of time, Now lemme tell you, when you share your Tiktok post to Instagram it comes with a branded watermark including your Tiktok username, if people like your posts on Instagram, then they might just visit your Tiktok account follow you and Like your videos.
